Art Carter is Chief Executive Officer of California Regional Multiple Listing Service, Incorporated. He has served as CEO since August, 2005. He also serves on the Boards of the Council of Multiple Listings Services, CARETS, RESO and the National Association of REALTORS.

Art has been instrumental in leading the data share revolution in Southern California, serving as the chair of the California Real Estate Technology Services (CARETS) Steering Committee since its inception in 2006 and still serving on their Board of Directors. CARETS has united listing from 8 MLS’s in Southern California into a single shared back end database. CRMLS has also been a staunch supporter of data standards with the ideal of driving member’s costs down thru greater aggregations of data.

The CRMLS is one of the nations largest Multiple Listing Services with over 44,000 subscribers from 25 REALTOR Associations. The CRMLS serves a variety of areas in Southern and Northern California and the Service processes over 100,000 listings and 50,000 sales annually.
